Aksaray University Faculty of Medicine was established by the Council of Ministers' Decision No. 2015/8052, published in the Official Gazette dated 27/08/2015 and numbered 29458. In the 2017–2018 academic year, medical education started with 30 students under a three-year education protocol signed with Necmettin Erbakan University Meram Faculty of Medicine. Since the 2021–2022 academic year, education and training activities have been carried out within our faculty, and the first graduates were given in the 2022–2023 academic year.

Educational activities are conducted in the Morphology Building located on the university campus and in the Education Building (Faculty of Medicine Annex) within the Aksaray University Training and Research Hospital campus. The Morphology Building includes lecture halls, classrooms, skills laboratories, simulated patient interview rooms, an anatomy laboratory, and student study areas supporting preclinical education. The hospital-based education building is structured to support clinical training with classrooms, seminar and conference halls, administrative offices, and academic department offices.
