ASÜ Neuroscience Society is a student community founded to follow developments in the field of neuroscience, raise awareness, and approach scientific thinking with an interdisciplinary perspective.

Our aim is to bring together students who are curious about the principles of how the human brain works, cognitive processes, and the biological infrastructure of the nervous system. Beyond theoretical knowledge sharing, our society organizes seminars, panels, and workshops to contribute to the academic and intellectual development of its members.

The Neuroscience Society is a union of passionate minds who come together to explore the deep secrets of the brain, seeking to understand human experience and the beauty of consciousness.

With the awareness that the fundamental building block of a healthy society is healthy individuals, to conduct community-oriented activities with a scientific perspective blended with the compassionate values of our civilization; to investigate the processes leading to the emergence of diseases; and to strengthen public health through innovative research and services in the fields of diagnosis and treatment.

To develop and implement projects based on the principle of equal opportunity, taking into account individuals’ socioeconomic conditions, and to ensure that those in need have access to social support and healthcare services of equal standard and quality.

Aksaray University Faculty of Medicine Scientific Research Community was established in 2025 to develop scientific thinking skills of medical students, to help them gain research culture at an early stage, and to encourage active participation in academic studies.

Our community aims to increase students’ knowledge and awareness in scientific research methods, academic writing, literature review, presentation techniques, and ethics. In this context, seminars, talks, workshops, courses, and scientific meetings are planned, and students’ participation in national and international scientific events is supported.

We also aim to strengthen academic collaboration between faculty members and students, encourage students to take active roles in scientific projects, and contribute to the spread of a research-based education approach.

As the Aksaray University Faculty of Medicine Scientific Research Community, we aim to create a student profile that places scientific production at its core, is inquisitive, and open to development, and we continue to carry out studies that will add value to medical education and the scientific community.
